Vedam School of Technology
The Vedam School of Technology Learning Experience Centre in Pune is a 10,500 sq ft, high-performance academic ecosystem within Ajeenkya DY Patil University designed to redefine how engineering is taught by aligning pedagogy, space, and technology into one continuous, build-first learning environment. Conceived not as a classroom upgrade but as a strategic institutional transformation, the centre integrates robotics, drones, AI, coding, prototyping, and high-capacity smart classrooms into a layered yet interconnected spatial system that encourages collaboration, experimentation, and iteration as everyday behavior. Designed within a legacy building envelope and delivered on aggressive timelines without disrupting the live campus, the space uses transparency, hexagonal geometries, modular furniture, and sightline-driven layouts to maximize density, visibility, and flexibility while reinforcing systems thinking and open knowledge exchange. Students move fluidly between lectures, teamwork, prototyping, and presentations in an environment where glass partitions enable visual connectivity without distraction, ergonomic planning ensures comfort, and integrated MEP, acoustic, and smart AV systems remain invisible yet performance-driven. The result is a scalable, future-ready academic infrastructure that supports parallel learning modes, strengthens admissions appeal, enhances industry engagement, and builds student confidence, demonstrating how space itself can function as pedagogy, transforming engineering education from theory-led instruction into a continuous culture of making, testing, and innovation.
